Kazakhstan U-19 Beat Serbia to Go Top of EURO Qualifying Group
Serbia took the lead as early as the ninth minute when Milovanovic found the net to put his side in front. However, Kazakhstan responded well and pushed forward in search of an equaliser. Their efforts were rewarded in the 25th minute when Tore Ismagulov brought his side level. The teams went into the break all square.
The second half began in perfect fashion for Kazakhstan as Ismail Bekbolat struck twice in four minutes, giving his side the lead in the 47th minute before completing his brace four minutes later.
A disciplined defensive display allowed Kazakhstan to protect their advantage and see out the match for an important victory.
Kazakhstan opened their qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw against Portugal. Following today's win over Serbia, they moved to the top of their qualifying group with four points.
