Welcome message

Welcome to the Kazakhstan Football Federation section dedicated to Safeguarding, that is, ensuring the safety and protection of children and other people who require special care and attention.

Football provides opportunities for personal development and teaches respect, responsibility and teamwork. Our mission is therefore not only to organise training sessions and competitions, but also to create an environment in which every member of the football community feels protected.

The Kazakhstan Football Federation is developing a systematic approach to Safeguarding. It should become an integral part of the work of the Federation, clubs, academies and all professionals who interact with children, rather than a separate initiative or a formal FIFA and UEFA requirement.

Everyone should come to a training session, match or other football event confident that they will be treated with respect, that their opinion will be heard and that their safety will remain an unconditional priority.

Like any other area of public life, the football environment may face unacceptable behaviour. Our shared task is to identify risks in a timely manner, prevent potential violations and ensure a clear procedure for responding to every such situation.

This work requires the involvement of all stakeholders. The Federation and clubs are responsible for rules and safeguarding mechanisms; coaches and specialists for upholding them; and parents for open dialogue and support. Only through joint efforts can we build a culture based on trust, respect and responsibility.

We intend to develop this system consistently, raise awareness among members of the football community and create conditions in which every child can enjoy football, realise their abilities and feel safe.

Protecting people is a shared responsibility and one of the main principles on which Kazakhstani football must continue to develop.

Child Protection focuses on protecting children and is part of the broader Safeguarding framework.

Who is considered a child?

For the purposes of Child Protection materials, a child is anyone under the age of 18.

How do I submit a report?

What should a coach do if a child reports a concern?

Listen to the child calmly, do not conduct your own investigation, and notify the KFF Safeguarding Officer.

Who reviews the reports?

Reports are received by the KFF Safeguarding Officer.
