Young Referee Seminar Takes Place in Astana
On May 9–10, the Kazakhstan Football Federation held the “Young Referee” seminar.

A total of 10 participants took part in the course. The seminar program combined theory and practical training, allowing attendees not only to study the Laws of the Game, but also to practice decision-making directly on the football pitch.

The project is aimed at supporting young people who want to pursue a future in football and refereeing.

The course was led by Artem Kuchin, an instructor from the KFF Refereeing and Inspection Department, and experienced referee Timur Tursumbaev. They shared their knowledge and experience with the participants and provided valuable advice on building a career in refereeing.

The project gives young people the chance to begin a career in refereeing and take their first steps in football. Upon completing the course, participants will be able to officiate city and amateur-level matches, while also continuing their development with the goal of reaching the professional level in the future.

At the end of the seminar, all participants received certificates of completion. Initiatives like this help create new career opportunities for young people and make an important contribution to the development of football infrastructure in Kazakhstan.
