KFF Representatives Attend UEFA Share Educational Seminar in Poland
From May 11–15, 2026, Gdansk hosted the UEFA Share educational seminar on Coach Education – Continuous Professional Development, dedicated to the ongoing education and development of football coaches.

The seminar brought together representatives from 12 UEFA national associations: Azerbaijan, Cyprus, England, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Romania, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland.

KFF Technical Director Gennady Skurtul took part in the seminar as a UEFA instructor and member of the UEFA Share expert group.

Kazakhstan was also represented by Stanislav Pogorelov, Head of Coach Education at KFF.

The seminar programme focused on developing modern approaches to the continuous education of coaches and instructors, promoting international knowledge exchange, implementing flexible educational models and fostering a culture of continuous learning within national associations.

As part of the seminar, participants discussed the development of modern coach education systems, the use of digital learning platforms, competency-based approaches to coach development and the exchange of best practices among UEFA national associations.

During the seminar, KFF representatives also shared their experience in developing the coach education system in Kazakhstan, including the introduction of new educational programmes, the development of the EASY COACH digital platform, the organisation of professional development courses and the integration of modern coaching education approaches in line with UEFA Convention requirements.

According to Stanislav Pogorelov, participation in international educational projects of this kind not only provides an opportunity to study the best practices of European associations but also helps objectively evaluate Kazakhstan’s own coach education system:

“For us, it is especially important to be part of the international professional community, share experiences and discuss current challenges in coach education. Today, continuous professional development is becoming one of the key areas of coach education. The UEFA Share seminar gives us an opportunity to explore different models used by national associations, gain new ideas and adapt the best solutions to the Kazakhstan context. At the same time, it is equally important for us to share our own experience and highlight the ongoing development of KFF’s coach education system at the international level.”
