Talgat Baisufinov: “The friendlies against Armenia and Hungary will serve as a full dress rehearsal for the autumn fixtures”
“The two friendly matches against Armenia and Hungary in June will serve as a dress rehearsal for our autumn fixtures.
First of all, we will play both Armenia and Hungary on natural grass pitches. Secondly, excellent conditions have been created in Shymkent and the atmosphere here is fantastic. The pitch we are training on is in excellent condition, and I would like to thank the stadium staff for their work.
The young players have been performing well, and competition within the national team is becoming increasingly intense. Young players who have performed well have earned call-ups to the national team. We will give them playing time in the upcoming two friendlies. Most importantly, however, they need to experience the atmosphere of the national team.
By autumn, competition for places in the squad will become even stronger, and you can already see that yourselves. If the players continue to perform at the same level during the second half of the season, then in autumn the strongest players at that moment will be called up to the national team,” said Talgat Baisufinov.
