Maksat Abrayev: "Representing the National Team Was My Childhood Dream"

Kazakhstan winger Maksat Abrayev shared his thoughts after Kazakhstan's 1-1 draw against Armenia in an international friendly.

"For me, this is a very special day because I made my debut for the national team. I would like to thank the coaching staff for their trust and for giving me this opportunity. Representing the national team was my childhood dream, so this moment means a great deal to me.

Of course, we wanted to win. I think we just ran out of time to turn the game in our favour. Now we need to prepare well for the upcoming matches, learn from this experience and do our best to achieve a positive result.

I hope I can perform even better in the next games and make a greater contribution to the team," said Abrayev.
