Second Module of UEFA B Fitness Licence Course Takes Place in Astana
From 23 to 25 June 2026, Astana is hosting the second module of the specialised UEFA B Fitness Licence course. The programme aims to further develop coaches' knowledge and expertise in the physical preparation of football players.

The course is delivered by the Kazakhstan Football Federation as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the national coach education system and educate fitness coaches in line with UEFA standards.

The educational programme is led by KFF instructors Rustam Usmanov, Alexander Kuchma and Yevgeniy Antonov. The second module also features UEFA Fitness Instructor Dave Carolan, who provides expert guidance and shares international best practice in modern approaches to players' physical preparation.

Throughout the module, participants continue to study the development of players' physical qualities, the use of testing data to analyse and plan the training process, and the individualisation of training loads.

Key topics of the second module include endurance development, player monitoring, physical testing and performance analysis, the application of MAS, MSS, RSA and RSI metrics, the use of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and strategies for maintaining the physical readiness of substitute and less-involved players.

The programme combines theoretical sessions, group assignments and practical on-pitch activities, enabling participants to apply modern physical conditioning methods in a football-specific environment.

The UEFA B Fitness Licence course forms part of the Kazakhstan Football Federation's ongoing commitment to developing the national coach education system and enhancing the qualifications of football professionals.
