Kazakhstan Futsal Team Placed in Pot 1 for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2028 Qualifiers Draw

The Kazakhstan national futsal team has been seeded in Pot 1 for the Main Round draw of the European qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2028.

The draw for the Main Round will take place on 19 June 2026 at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

A total of 36 national teams will compete in the Main Round. They will be divided into 12 groups of three teams, with matches played on a home-and-away basis.

Based on the UEFA Men's Futsal National Team Rankings, Kazakhstan have been placed in Pot 1 alongside Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, France, Croatia, Italy, Armenia, Slovenia, Czechia, Poland and the Netherlands.

Pot 2 consists of Hungary, Belarus, Georgia, Belgium, Slovakia, Finland, Serbia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Germany and Azerbaijan. Pot 3 features the teams that advanced from the Preliminary Round: Latvia, Sweden, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Andorra, Montenegro, Norway, Lithuania, Denmark, Albania, Estonia and Northern Ireland.

Main Round matches will be played during the following international windows: 12–21 October 2026, 2–11 November 2026, 6–9 December 2026, and 22 February–3 March 2027.

At the conclusion of the Main Round, the 12 group winners and the four best runners-up will progress to the Elite Round of qualifying. The remaining eight runners-up will advance to the Main Round play-offs.
