First-Round Opponents Confirmed for Kazakhstan Clubs in UEFA Competitions

The draw for the first qualifying rounds of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Kazakhstan champions Kairat have been drawn against Montenegrin side Sutjeska in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The first leg will be played in Almaty on 7 or 8 July, with the return match scheduled for 14 or 15 July in Nikšić.

Astana will face Albanian club Dinamo City in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. The first leg will be played in Tirana on 9 July, with the return match scheduled for 16 July in Astana.

Yelimay have been drawn against Armenian side Alashkert in the UEFA Conference League. It will mark the Semey club's debut in European competition. The first leg will be played in Yerevan on 9 July, with the return match taking place in Semey on 16 July.
