Kazakhstan U-16 Fall to Russia in UEFA Development Tournament
The team coached by Ruslanzhan Raimbakiev played three matches at the UEFA Development Tournament in Shymkent. In their opening game, Kazakhstan U-16 secured a convincing 4–0 win over Pakistan. In the second match, Kazakhstan drew 1–1 with Azerbaijan, but lost 4–2 on penalties. In their final match, Kazakhstan faced Russia, with the visitors coming out on top.
Anuar Tolendy scored for Kazakhstan in the 12th minute after a pass from Mikhail Turishchev.
