Kazakhstani refereeing expert Artem Kuchin has been appointed UEFA Refereeing Convention Coordinator in Kazakhstan.

In his new role, he will serve as the main point of contact with UEFA, coordinating all matters related to the implementation of the organisation's refereeing standards and requirements in Kazakhstan.

His responsibilities will also include ensuring the timely submission of the required information and overseeing compliance with the UEFA Refereeing Convention in Kazakhstan.

Artem Kuchin also serves as Refereeing Coordinator at the Kazakhstan Football Federation.

During his 17-year refereeing career, Kuchin officiated matches in the Kazakhstan Premier League. He also took charge of fixtures in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, the Kazakhstan Cup and Super Cup finals, the UEFA European Under-17 and Under-19 Championship final tournaments, as well as the UEFA Regions' Cup final.

Artem Kuchin became the first Kazakhstani referee to officiate UEFA Europa League group stage matches, marking a significant milestone in the history of Kazakhstani refereeing.
